In addition to his work in funeral service and education, Cody has served as an expert witness in funeral service related litigation, where he has been called upon to provide insight into professional standards and practices. These experiences revealed a consistent theme: too often, errors and misunderstandings stem from gaps in training. Recognizing the urgent need for quality, practical education across all areas of funeral service, Cody committed himself to building resources that prepare professionals not only to pass exams, but to excel in the real world.

As the founder of My Funeral Career and NBE Wizard, Cody brings together his passion for education, professional development, and innovation. His mission is simple: to equip funeral service professionals at every level with the knowledge, confidence, and practical tools they need to serve with excellence.
