This course provides funeral professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to serve military families with excellence. Participants will learn about eligibility and procedures for military funeral honors, burial in national and state cemeteries, and benefits provided through the Department of Veterans Affairs. The course also explores ceremonial protocols, flag presentation, coordination with honor guards, and culturally sensitive support for families coping with military-related loss.
